Easee

Introduction

The Easee integration allows you to get live charging data such as charger status, charge amount and charging speed for your Easee charging station, as well as start/stop charging.

The adapter supports:

• Total energy charged in current charging session
• Current charging power
• Start and stop charging
• Monitor charger state
• Via automations, set normal, slow or off
• Dynamic load balancing via Power Manager.

Note that not all electrical vehicles are equal, e.g some might not support resuming of charging after its paused.

Installation

To install the adapter you need to be in the Futurehome app and follow these steps:

1. Go to settings → playground → Easee adapter, and click the download button.
2. After the download is complete, click on the button with three dots.
3. Click "Login" and enter your Easee username* and password.

If you installed successfully, the chargers should be included to Futurehome. Add them to a room, give them a friendly name, and they are ready to go.

* Check the Easee app to find your username. This can be your email or phone number, with or without the country code. 

Use of Easee

• set up automations, e.g. based on energy prices. See spot price automations.
• add chargers to Power Manager to better optimise your energy usage. Learn more in the article about Power Manager.
  • Under Power Manager, you can activate dynamic load balancing, to ensure the fastest charging possible without the risk of tripping your breaker. Learn more about dynamic load balancing here.

• see the historical charging data in the energy view in the app. To set up logging of this data, please check out "Event collector" here.
