Summary
The Bose adapter allows you to control your Bose speakers from the Futurehome app.
- Go to settings → playground → Bose Soundtouch → download .
- Press the three dots → choose the speakers you want to connect.
Your devices will show in the device list.
Functionality
- Play or pause music/radio
- Skip to the next or previous song
- Mute speakers
- Turn on/off shuffle, repeat and repeat one
- Control volume
- Get metadata (song name, artist, album)
Setup
- Download:
Go to settings → playground → Bose Soundtouch → download .
- Choose the speakers:
Tap the three dots → select the speakers you want to connect. - Add to Room:
Go to the settings page → devices → scroll to the bottom to find the device.
Open the device → press settings → place in a room → save. - Delete unwanted devices (if any):
Go to the device → settings → delete. - Reinclude the device after deletion:
Go to playground → Bose Soundtouch → three dots → advanced setup → sync.
Optional
- Create automations.
See Bose advanced automations. - Change sync time (for how long the network is searched for the speakers):
Go to settings → playground → Bose Soundtouch → three dots → set number of seconds in the box at the bottom (default 10 seconds) → scroll down to save.

If you are missing speakers in the list, click on «sync» to search the network again (go to playground → Bose Soundtouch → three dots → sync).
Initially, the adapter scans for 10 seconds. If you have many devices or a busy network, you can configure the adapter to search for a longer time:
- Go to playground → Bose Soundtouch → three dots .
- Change the value in the bottom box → save.
- Tap sync to scan the network again. The app will say «loading» until the scan is complete.
