To change the settings for a household, go to "settings → household. This feature allows you to:
- Change the household's name and address
- Replace your Smarthub with a new Smarthub.
- Update software
- Create or restore from backup
- Power off or reset Smarthub
- Transfer ownership to a new owner, for example if you are selling your house or similar.
- Edit push notifications
Updating Smarthub
To update the Smarthub, go to household → hub settings → update software → search for updates by pressing at the top right → start update.
Push notifications
In the settings, you can edit your preferences for notifications. The app is pre-programmed to send a notification whenever any form of motion is detected while the household is in Away or Vacation mode.
The most common notification scenarios are implemented in the app and can easily be activated or deactivated. These include scenarios such as:
- when fire is detected
- when a water leak is detected
- when motion is detected while I am away
- when something is opened while I am away
- if the temperature is lower than 5°C
- if the temperature is lower than 0°C
- if the temperature is higher than 40°C
- if the temperature is higher than 55°C
- when the battery level on a device is low
- for events from door locks
- for tamper alarms
- for alerts from door locks
