Futurehome Charge - IT/TT 3 phase connection

Restrictions on IT/TT 3 phase charging

Futurehome Charge allows IT/TT 3 phase connection, but not 3 phase charging.

This means that you can connect all three phases to Charge, but the car will only receive power through one phase. The reason for this is that the vast majority of electric cars on the market can be damaged by 230v 3 phase charging.

The restriction is set by us as a safety measure to prevent cars from this potential damage.

Tho we do not use the three phases at the same time, we still recommend electricians to connect all three phases due to our phase balancing functionality. Read more about this function here.
