After the physical installation of Charge, you will need to provision it and add it to a household in the app. Please note that only a qualified electrician can provision Charge.

If you haven't used Futurehome before, you will need to download the app and create a user. If you're already a Futurehome user, proceed to the “Create a household” section.
- Go to the App Store or Google Play and download the Futurehome app.
- In the app, click “sign up” and enter your credentials.
- Open your email and activate your account.
- Return to the app and log in.

Network setup
The network options vary based on whether you have a Smarthub.
Without a Smarthub: Choose between a WiFi connection or a standalone setup. With a Smarthub: Connect directly via Zigbee or via WiFi (OCPP 1.6).
Choose your desired connection type. Charge will then search for available updates and initiate installation.

If you selected “No connection,” skip to the “Handover” section.
Based on your connection choice, you'll either proceed with WiFi setup or Zigbee inclusion.

Zigbee
Ensure your Smarthub has the latest Zigbee update. If an update is available, follow the prompt to install. Once updated, click continue.
- Access the Zigbee inclusion screen and click “start.”
