Charging current limit

There are two limits set for charging current. The first one called hard limit is the limit set by the installer in accordance to the circuit breaker in the installation. This is not adjustable.
The second one is soft limit. This is the value you set for your charger in the app. This can range between 6 A as minimum and the hard limit. This can be changed in the app under Charge → settings → Charging speed.

The minimum charging speed is 6 ampere, and the maximum is equal to the limit set by the electrician at the installation.

In the example below, we see the households main breaker, Charges circuit and Charge itself.

The charging current limit cannot be higher than the charges circuit breaker, or it would trip.
