If you open your Futurehome app and do not get response from Smarthub, this can be due to a number of things.

When you are sure that you have chosen the right household, with a Smarthub that is connected and you still do not get contact, you should check the internet connection to the Smarthub. Check that both network lights under Smarthub are lit/flashing and that other devices on the same network have internet.
If everything is connected correctly and other devices has internet, but you still do not get contact with Smarthub, you can contact Futurehome support.

If the internet stops working, everything in your home will still work as before.
Time settings, heat control, light switch control and automations will still work even without internet.
If you have a mode switch, you can still switch modes, which perform the predefined actions.
The only thing you lose if the internet stops working is the ability to control the home from the Futurehome app and receive push notifications from Smarthub.
Network equipment
There are many network providers in Norway and these supply a bunch of different modems and routers. The vast majority have several network ports, but not everyone is intended for the Internet to which you can connect the Smart Hub, PC or other wired devices. A good example of this is Altibox's Zyxel P-2812 “Hjemmesentral”. It has 4 local network ports, but only number 1 is reserved for the internet, the others are reserved for the TV solution or other purposes.
Check the support pages of your broadband provider, eg Altibox, Telenor, Telia or similar to find out how your router works.
Network scan
If you are unsure whether the Smarthub is connected to your network or not, you can use a network scanning app to check this. We recommend Fing. Download this in the App Store or Google Play.
Make sure your phone is connected to the same local network as the Smarthub. When you open this app, you can scan your network for connected devices. Here, if Smarthub has a connection to the same network as the phone, a device called CUBE will appear. If your Smarthub does not appear in this list, it does not have a connection to the same network as on the phone you are using. Check that the router does not have any isolated wireless networks such as Guest Networks, separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks or other access points.
